Lombard Odier Bank headquarters, Geneva
Since January 2021, integral designers has been designing the wayfinding system for Lombard Odier’s headquarters in Geneva in collaboration with architects Herzog & de Meuron. The comprehensive identification and wayfinding system is implemented across all interior levels of the building, the parking garages, and the site’s outdoor spaces.
Beyond addressing the functional complexity, particular attention was paid to integrating information and wayfinding elements into the materials and aesthetic expressions of the interior architecture and landscaping. No additional fixtures were added: solutions involving paint or adhesive markings on walls, wood cladding, or glass were prioritized. The graphic design is based on the fundamentals of Lombard Odier’s brand guidelines and emphasizes great restraint in the choice of colors, typography, and pictogram design. Finally, a project was undertaken to name the lounges, rooms, and collaborative spaces. It is based on a concept of distribution by elevation, drawing inspiration from Swiss topography (valleys, peaks, mountains, summits, glaciers, etc.) and significant altitudes in the country, such as that of Mont Blanc, commonly known as the roof of Europe.
