integral designers ∫ is a graphic and design studio based in Paris, specializing in visual identity, wayfinding, exhibition design, and urban design. As designers, we actively collaborate with architects, scenographers, urban planners, landscape architects, and public and private clients. Drawing on this diversity, our practice is centered on experience and experimentation, while maintaining a keen eye for the aesthetic and technical elements that define our projects.

Since 2023, David Thoumazeau and Benjamin Ribeau have been at the helm of the studio*.

* Founded in 1989 by Ruedi Baur, integral designers (formerly integral ruedi baur paris) is recognized for its graphic design work, particularly its wayfinding and visual identity systems for cultural and political institutions. Starting in the 1990s, the studio embarked on multidisciplinary design work and developed numerous projects in the fields of exhibition graphics and scenography, as well as complex architectural programs. Its pioneering work on the interaction between signs and space has allowed it to thoroughly reimagine the field of wayfinding and become a major player in contemporary design.

David Thoumazeau Associate
Designer
A
graduate of the DNSEP program at the Beaux-Arts de Rennes and holder of a post-graduate diploma in Design and Research from the Beaux-Arts de Saint-Étienne, he has been collaborating with Ruedi Baur’s various studios for 16 years. He conceives and oversees projects in the fields of wayfinding design and urban design. For him, being a designer means harmonizing aesthetic perception with technical sensitivity to create a formal and functional vocabulary whose plasticity resonates closely with its context. Among the projects he has led with Ruedi Baur are the scenography for the French Pavilion at the World Expo in Shanghai, the exhibition “Les Passagers du Grand Paris Express” at the MAC VAL in Vitry-sur-Seine, the urban scenography – History of the European Quarter in Brussels as part of the Belgian EU Presidency; the redevelopment of the Carreau Wendel plaza in Petite Roselle; the street furniture for the station district in Chaumont-en-Haute-Marne; the street furniture and signage for Grand Parc in Bordeaux; wayfinding projects for the Academic Center of the New School in New York, the Metz city tour route, Station F in Paris, UN Building H in Geneva, the Vauban and Gallice ports in Antibes; and the new headquarters of Lombard Odier bank in Geneva.
