Street furniture in Chaumont
This line of street furniture, developed in collaboration with the GHM Sommevoire foundry, creates a visual contrast and dialogue that arises from the interplay between the verticality of its internal forms and the horizontality of the layers that define its external lines. The simplicity and precision of the design principle allow for the development and adaptation of functional combinations to meet users’ needs. The horizontal strata accompany the lines of the furniture regardless of its design. They reinforce a linear fluidity while offering visual variation and define, across the entire range, a style and graphic identity specific to the city. Initially intended for the Quartier Gare, this furniture is being deployed throughout the urban area as needed. The Silos plaza features a distinctive color scheme in keeping with the purpose of the book and poster center located at the far end of the plaza.
