Stage design for the Inter-Parliamentary Union Congress, Bern
The buildings at the Bern Fairgrounds are generic and lack any distinctive atmosphere. This inspired the development of a visual language and a scenography that take over the space and welcome and guide the participants. The visual language consisted of typography, cartography, and data visualization, and could be applied to both two-dimensional and three-dimensional media. The presentation of graphs and diagrams revealing geopolitical information and data offered perspectives on the world in all its diversity.
