Reims city tram
Following a consultation organized by Reims Métropole in early 2005, Ruedi Baur and his team, in collaboration with the Anatome agency, developed two proposals for a visual identity and tram livery, which were presented at a public exhibition in the city center. The “Couleurs” project, chosen by a majority, is based on a palette of eight intense colors and unfolds in a series of monochromatic gradients. Each vehicle and each station is treated as a luminous monochrome... In his role as art director, Ruedi Baur worked in collaboration with Alstom to refine the design of the Reims tram. A 1:1 scale model, 14 meters long, representing a half-train in green was presented to the public. The team designed the visual identity for the 11-kilometer construction site crossing the city... The tram entered service in late 2010. Design
